Mandvi Beach: Located at a distance of 2km from the Ratnagiri bus stand, Mandvi beach is famous for its serenity and water sports. It is surrounded by the historical Ratnadurg Fort to its West and Arabian Sea it its south. Ratnadurg Fort: Just 3km away from the Ratnagiri bus stand is the historical Ratnadurg Fort. Also known as Ratnagiri Fort, it’s surrounded on the three sides by the waters and provides visitors with a stunning view of the majestic Arabian Ocean. There are also a quite few ancient temples inside the fort that are worth paying a visit.
Thibaw Palace: If you want to have a perfect overview of the entire Ratnagiri city, Thibaw point located in the Thibaw Palace is the place to be. From here, you can have a wonderful view of the great ArabianSea, Pawas, the famous Bhatye Bridge as well as Someshwar Creek.

Ratnagiri is around 350km from Mumbai and 306km from Pune by road. The nearest railway station is the Ratnagiri station.
